I think this piece is Ann Pugh's (forgive me if I'm wrong).  It is a computer collage.  Below is a gourd that Ann has done her version of zentangle.  We're not sure how long it's going to live as she didn't dry it out first, but she had fun, and that's what matters!

Notice how the bumps on the squash were turned into faces!

This is the table runner that I made from a pattern called Spicy Spiral, and here you can see it with the candlesticks I repurposed with a little (well a lot!) of paint.
Tony and Michelle knew Halloween was coming, so they came in costume!  We love their sense of humor.

Rickie Seifried has been making postcards like mad!  This one and the following below are all hers!

Teri Duffy made the next several postcards.  These things are highly addictive - everyone beware!  There's even a category for them in the quilt show this coming year.

Ricki's challenge response to Marka for "something inspired by Africa."  An original design, with lots of neon threads.

Heather has been crocheting again and the results are fabulous!
Sandy Leal and Diane Zammitto have been busy as usual creating more wonderful items for Desert Airs.  Here's two of her Altoid Tin dolls, and below are some close-ups of one of their vignettes.

Sophie Gamache shows us a piece of heirloom sewing in this wonderful shirt which Linda Hirshfeld is shown modeling on the right.

Karen Garth displays a watercolor of Hanalei Bay that she did.
Jaine Vaughn answered the challenge for a "quilt-like" project out of non-fabric items.  Screening, washers, picture wire and more went into this!

Mary Sprenger shows her pretty necklace and the article that inspired it, and the pins she made of buttons.
Linda Natale shows us the paddle she decorated with zentangle designs.

September Art Quilts

The following photos are from the September Art Quilts meeting.  Some would indicate that our members are horizontal creatures....try to ignore that!  Hope you enjoy them all.  Mary
