Marka and Melody are showing us some quilts that were the result of previous "round robins" they have been involved in. Janett, Marka, Melody and Karin collaborated to bring us the rules for a round robin that they are offering to the group. For more information, contact one of these people!

Margaret Illions is teaching her 8-yr. old neighbor how to quilt, and cleaning out her closet. Hooray for her!

Jean Schantal has done her Jennie Raiment fabric manipulations but in color, and with lots and lots and lots of hand beading, which unfortunately, this photo doesn't show well.

Peg Cummings piece is in celebration of mother nature. This piece was also shown in the Desert Quilters Show in March.

Ida has worked with barkcloth on this piece, and assures us that it's a mistake to sew on a machine with it! Her woman is quite elegant, and she has utilized some of her African fabrics.

This trip to Hawaii, Deb Lara remembered her paints, and below are some of the leaf paintings she did while there.

Mary B has put together this wonderful piece out of hand dyed silk that was then quilted.

This was Mary's entry into the 2009 Desert Quilters challenge entry. Again, I can't photograph the beads, but Mary knows exactly how many she attached!

Careful! Don't get too close or this little doggie could bite! Well, not really. But it looks like it, huh? Photo transfer for the face, enhanced with artwork, and yarn for the hair would probably fool the pup's mom!

Marka's piece has tons of texture with ribbons and yarn and wonderful beads, all in a row.

This is Mary Ashcraft's (me!) new doll in progress by Cyndi Mahlstadt. Note the well-fed figure but the happy face!
