Mary Sprenger has been bitten by the Zentangle bug and is doing them on envelopes, scraps of paper, and tablets!

Sue Karaalp gave us a demonstration using a new product called "Texture Magic". She showed us many, many samples of thread options, fabric with designs, stitch options, and even a darling outfit with purse for her grand daughter. The place mat to the left was my favorite with three or four rows textured, and the rest not. The leaves have been textured with very innovative stitching. Wa to go Sue!

Deb Lara took Bette Beauregard's class last time about KC Willis methods, and went to town with a book she put together about a relative in her family.

Janett Rice with her quilt comemorating (is that a word?) her recent successful hip replacement. She incorporated burlap, paint, lace, and of course cotton fabrics to create this piece.

The pretty silk curls and a few doo-dads made this rubber toy memorable. Especially with eyes that light up when you touch it! Too funny, Sandy.

Sandy made this giraffe with two pink socks. She and Di are preparing for a miniatures show in San Diego this month. We wish them luck.
